DRAFT — IN DEVELOPMENT
Internal blueprint for Mercy's review. Not for public positioning. Last updated September 2026.
Africa's first enterprise workforce AI-readiness diagnostic, benchmarked against a live African dataset Workera cannot replicate.
An enterprise workforce AI-readiness diagnostic positioned as ARETE's answer to the gap Workera fills in developed markets. Built around ARETE's existing African-specific benchmark dataset (currently 320+ assessments) rather than attempting Workera's continuous, ambient, individual-skill-tracking approach. Cohort-level assessment, not continuous monitoring.
Core Differentiator
Workera's benchmark data is not African-specific. ARETE's dataset is built from real African professionals and institutions across multiple sectors and countries, making the comparison contextually valid for African enterprises. This is the structural moat Workera cannot replicate without building an African dataset from scratch.
Why ARETE's model fits the African market where Workera's doesn't
| Dimension | Workera | ARETE |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking model | Continuous, ambient individual skill tracking via integrations | Cohort-level diagnostic at a point in time |
| Benchmark dataset | Global, developed-market-centric, not African-specific | 320+ African assessments across multiple sectors and countries, live and growing |
| Delivery | Self-serve SaaS platform with individual dashboards | Cohort diagnostic + institutional briefing with Mercy |
| Technical scope | HRIS/ATS integrations, continuous API, ambient telemetry | Assessment + benchmarking report + briefing handoff |
Built on the existing SAGE Workforce Assessment, not new infrastructure
Reuses the existing SAGE Workforce Assessment logic and the established 4-archetype framework as the assessment foundation. No new assessment infrastructure is built from scratch.
Delivery Model
Cohort-level diagnostic, not individual continuous tracking
Assessment Length
4 foundational questions (existing SAGE Workforce Assessment)
Scoring Model
Points-based, normalized to a 0-100 readiness percentage
Readiness Output Levels
4-Archetype Framework (Existing)
Systems run independently of key individuals. Ready to scale impact beyond personal hours.
Clear direction but no visible proof of work yet. Insight outpaces infrastructure.
Deep expertise with no digital visibility. Skill exists but is not discoverable.
Knows what matters but has no clear starting point. Paralysis before action.
Cohort results feed into an institutional briefing with Mercy, not an automated dashboard. The briefing maps exact scaling limits and prioritizes gaps, same as the current SAGE Workforce Assessment flow.
Cohort results compared against ARETE's live African dataset
By Sector
Cohort results compared against ARETE's live sector benchmark (AI awareness, income resilience, benchmark gap, trend direction per sector).
getSectorReadinessBenchmark (existing, live)
By Country
Cohort results compared against ARETE's country readiness report, covering Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Ghana, and emerging markets.
getCountryReadinessReport (existing, live)
By Archetype Distribution
Cohort archetype distribution compared against the network baseline. Shows whether the cohort skews toward operational readiness or structural fragility relative to the African average.

Live Sector Benchmark Preview
All draft-stage, subject to Mercy's review
Naming Options (Draft)
Ties to the RICH Framework, positions as intelligence (not just assessment), distinct from SAGE terminal branding.
Leads with the ARETE brand, emphasizes benchmarking as the core differentiator.
Extends the SAGE product family, but may blur the line between the terminal (individual) and this (cohort) product.
Suggested Pricing (Draft)
Cohort Diagnostic
TBD — suggested range: $2,500 - $5,000 per cohort
Cohort assessment, benchmarking report (sector/country/archetype), 90-minute institutional briefing with Mercy
Entry point. Pricing not finalized. Subject to Mercy's review.
Multi-Cohort Program
TBD — suggested range: $8,000 - $15,000 per quarter
Quarterly cohort diagnostics across multiple departments, trend tracking against African benchmark, ongoing briefing cadence
For institutions running multiple cohorts over time. Pricing not finalized.
Institutional Partnership
TBD — custom engagement
Full workforce diagnostic across the institution, board-level benchmarking report, embedded advisory relationship
Enterprise-scale. Pricing determined per engagement following briefing conversation.
Public Positioning (Draft)
The only workforce AI-readiness diagnostic benchmarked against a live African dataset.
Workera built for developed markets with global benchmark data. We built for African enterprises with African benchmark data. Same question, different context: is your workforce ready for what 2030 demands, measured against the reality of your market, not Silicon Valley's?
Cohort-level diagnostic, institutional benchmarking report, and a strategic briefing with Mercy. No integrations, no dashboards to maintain, no ambient tracking. Just a clear answer and a clear path forward.
All positioning is draft-stage. Not for public use until Mercy signs off on final naming, pricing, and positioning.
What this draft deliberately does not build, and the path from draft to launch
Explicitly Out of Scope for This Draft
Continuous / ambient skill tracking
Workera-scale technical investment requiring always-on telemetry infrastructure. Not appropriate for a draft or for African enterprises not yet ready for ambient tracking.
Individual-level dashboards
This is a cohort-level diagnostic, not an individual assessment tool. Individual-level tracking is a future phase, not this draft.
HRIS / ATS integrations
Integration debt is the single largest technical investment Workera made. ARETE's model deliberately avoids this to stay deployable now.
Billing / subscription logic
No Stripe, no automated provisioning, no self-serve checkout. All engagements are briefing-led and invoiced manually, same as the existing institutional model.
Automated reporting beyond the briefing
The output is a benchmarking report delivered in a briefing with Mercy, not an automated self-serve dashboard. This is intentional, not a gap.
Draft Roadmap
This page. Structural placeholder only.
Run 2-3 cohort diagnostics with existing institutional partners using the SAGE Workforce Assessment + live benchmarking. Validate the benchmarking view with real cohort data.
Mercy reviews pilot results, finalizes naming, pricing, and public positioning.
Public-facing page, nav link, lead capture. Only after Mercy signs off.
