Each readiness category consolidates into a reporting archetype (shown in the distribution below). The four archetypes, Capable Operator, Visionary Without Infrastructure, Experienced Invisible, and Aware But Frozen, are the canonical view used across ARETE's public reporting.
Across 335 professionals assessed since May 2026, AI Readiness scored highest of the twelve pillars at 70/100, while Income Resilience scored lowest at 43/100, indicating African professionals are adopting AI tools faster than they are building the income architecture to withstand the transition.

Each respondent completes a 20-question instrument across twelve structural pillars, Direction Clarity, Career Relevance, AI Readiness, Digital Visibility, Income Resilience, Adaptability, Systems Thinking, Execution Habits, Digital Asset Ownership, Long-Term Positioning, Strategic Learning, and Future Preparedness. Responses are scored 1–5, normalized to 0–100 per pillar, and averaged into a composite score that maps to one of four readiness categories, Reactive & Vulnerable (0–25), Aware But Unprepared (26–50), Emerging Strategist (51–75), or Positioned For Acceleration (76–100). Each category consolidates into a reporting archetype: Capable Operator, Visionary Without Infrastructure, Experienced Invisible, or Aware But Frozen.
The aggregate index is recalculated monthly as new assessments are submitted. The methodology is reviewed every 6 months. This page republishes a dated snapshot so cited figures remain stable between updates.
